Part, which gives an overview of what is going on in the orchestra, e.g. the corrected copy of the piano part for the Choral Fantasia, op. 80, signature NE 27: in the piano part there are small notes (cue notes) which show what the orchestra is playing. Using these notes, the pianist can, if need be, give cues and direct the orchestra.
