Summary
Beethoven sends a bill, probably a promissory note. In 1813/14 he had had several loans from Franz and Antonie Brentano and is obviously not able to pay them back.

In addition he asks Antonie Brentano on behalf of his brother Kaspar Karl to sell the bowl of a pipe in Frankfurt. Kaspar Karl hoped to make more profit there, being reliant on money due to his illness. (JR)
