Summary
Beethoven responds to the books sent by Bigot by giving him some of his own music. Paul Bigot was Prince Rasumowsky's librarian. Beethoven became friends with the Bigots in winter 1806/07, when he was often at the Palais Rasumowsky. The letter was apparently written at the beginning of their friendship
