Summary
Beethoven asks his landlord in Mödling to prepare his lodgings as he will move to them in a few days time. Beethoven loved the countryside and always spent the summer outside of Vienna. In summer 1820 (at the beginning of May) he moved his whole household to Mödling, a suburb of Vienna, staying at Speer's house until the middle of October.
