Summary
Beethoven asks his doctor Braunhofer to call as he is not feeling well. Beethoven had originally wanted to consult his doctor of many years, Dr. Staudenheim. But as he was not to hand, he had Dr. Braunhofer called. The letter was written in case he was not there. However, Braunhofer came immediately and prescribed a diet.
