Summary
Beethoven cancels a quartet evening as he is leaving the city. He asks Breuning to tell him if he hears of nice lodgings in Vienna or if he plans to leave his own apartment. Stephan von Breuning was considered a good violin player, the friends might have played music together. At the end of July Beethoven did actually move into the same house as Breuning, moving into Breuning's apartment soon afterwards.
