Beethoven works

A small but very interesting group of depictions does not deal with Beethoven as a person but with the visual transfer of his compositions. First attempts to visualise the composer's works date back to the 19th century but most of these depictions were created in the 20th century. The topic has not lost its fascination and artist still choose to work in the borderland between music and painting.
