Summary
Confirmation of receipt of a complete edition of Handel's works in 40 volumes as well as a travel guide and a letter from George Smart in London. The travel guide, referred to as "Reichard's Taschenbuch eines Reisenden" in the receipt, is probably Julius Bernhard Engelmann's "Taschenbuch für Reisende durch Deutschland und die angrenzenden Länder", the second edition of which was published in 1821 "with contributions from H.[einrich] A.[ugust] O.[tto] Reichard".
The collected edition of the letters cites the receipt in footnote 1 of letter 2247a in an incorrect version printed in TDR V, p. 425 and mistakenly states that the original has gone missing.
