Summary
Beethoven asks Varena to give him the performance parts for his overture to the "Ruinen von Athen" ("Ruins of Athens") op. 113, so that he can have a copy made. He promises to send everything back within eight days.
Beethoven had let Varena have the parts for a charity concert in Graz for the benefit of the nuns and their institutions.
