Dominique wrote on 05.01.2009:
I would like yo know, if it is possible, what clavier-instrument was in the Beethoven house when the child Ludwig began touch the "piano". A harpsichord ? A piano-forte ?
Thanks for an answer, and excuse my language... I'm french...

Dear Dominique,
It is not known what kind of clavier-instrument it was. It could be a virginal, because by that time a piano-forte or harpsichord would have probably been too expensive for the Beethoven household.
