Subject: The "Rolland" Manuscript Max wrote on 25.03.2010: According to Johnson, Tyson, and Winter (1985) the Rolland manuscript contains "two melodies with the inscription 'Auf Sylbenmasse Instrumental Melodien (schaffen) machen'" (403). Reportedly, they are on folios 8v and 9r. Perhaps I can't decipher the composer's handwriting, but I can't seem to find the inscription or melodies. If someone could help identify them, I would be most grateful. thanks!
